BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Centre County PA. BAYADAs special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

Looking for a new job opportunity One that rewards you with both meaningful work and weekly income With ourDirect Support Professional position you can work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to help them live better lives at home and in their communities! Youll teach them to do things for themselves helping them live more independent purposeful lives.

How Youll Make an Impact:

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing grooming basic hygiene)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the clients favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

• One year experience working or volunteering with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
