Location: Wigton Cumbria
Role Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours:40 Hours - 08:00 - 17:00 - Monday to Friday
Rate: 16.51 per hour

We are currently recruiting an experienced joiner to join a well-established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands-on role working on the build and finishing of high-quality timber structures offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start.

This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship enjoys working as part of a team and is confident working across a range of joinery tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
Carrying out a range of joinery tasks including assembly and finishing work
Working with timber to produce high-quality structures and fittings
Reading and working from technical drawings where required
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Supporting the wider team with project delivery
Maintaining a clean safe and organised working environment
Following all health and safety procedures

About you
Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hands-on environment
Able to travel to the site as there is no public transport available
Relevant qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential
