Our clients Vancouver office is currently seeking a Client Relations & Marketing Coordinator to join its Client Relations & Marketing team. This role reports to the Senior Manager Client Relations and Business Development.
The Role
The Client Relations & Marketing Coordinator provides support across a wide range of events and marketing initiatives. Working closely with members of the Client Relations & Marketing team the successful candidate will contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with the firms business development objectives.
A significant component of this role involves providing logistical creative and administrative support for client events and programs in the Vancouver office ensuring high-quality client experiences throughout the planning and execution process.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating Vancouver sporting and entertainment tickets including maintaining and managing the ticket calendar assigning tickets and delivering tickets to lawyers
- Providing event-related administrative support including financial tracking credit card consolidation and invoice processing
- Planning and executing small-scale events including coordinating logistics set-up on-site support and delivering a high standard of execution
- Supporting the development of invitation lists managing the invitation process and accurately tracking attendance in the CRM
- Assisting with the preparation of directory submissions including information sourcing data gathering and follow-up
- Working with creative and marketing technology teams to draft and distribute print and electronic event communications and materials
- Coordinating the internal Whats On newsletter
- Managing client gifting and promotional products including coordinating time-sensitive orders with lawyers and assistants
- Supporting the development review and ongoing updates of marketing collateral
- Assisting with research requests as required
- Supporting the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for client events and special projects
- Monitoring tracking and maintaining the marketing calendar and relevant databases
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field or a college diploma with a focus on marketing and/or events preferred
- One to three years of experience planning and executing events and programs or experience in a marketing or business development role preferably within a professional services environment
- Recent graduates with relevant marketing co-op or internship experience will also be considered
Skills & Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines juggle competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong interpersonal and client-service skills
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Strong logistical and administrative capabilities
- A creative proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Confidence interacting with senior-level and C-suite clients in a professional environment
Compensation
The anticipated hiring range for this role is $55000 $70000 with flexibility to consider candidates who offer a strong combination of training and experience.
