Job Summary

Job Title: Blending Operator
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Charlotte NC 28217

Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Monday Friday

Role Overview
Operate blending processes to produce quality food ingredients
Ensure safe efficient production while maintaining food safety standards
Handle material mixing documentation and equipment operations

Responsibilities
Set up monitor and control blending processes
Stage weigh measure and mix raw materials
Perform dumping stacking and material handling tasks
Operate forklifts and equipment like shrink wrap machines
Maintain sanitation standards to ensure food safety
Enter and manage data in ERP systems and maintain documentation
Identify and troubleshoot process product or equipment issues
Follow SOPs and safety procedures (personal and food safety)
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation activities
Ensure accuracy in production and documentation processes

Must Have
Experience in manufacturing or food processing environment
Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP HACCP)
Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
Basic computer skills for ERP/data entry
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

Nice to Have
Forklift operating experience
Experience with blending or mixing processes
Experience working in food manufacturing facilities
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
