Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Manage and service a select portfolio of high-value commercial accounts including accounts with premiums reaching up to $2000000.
Coordinate the placement of new commercial business with insurance carriers and lead quote negotiations with underwriters.
Collaborate with Producers to develop strategic approaches for carrier selection coverage structure and pricing.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with insurance carriers and wholesalers.
Organize and facilitate renewal meetings for agency Producers.
Participate in and support strategic initiatives or projects assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lines experience within an insurance agency environment.
10 years of overall insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
Proven experience working with large commercial accounts.
Strong technical expertise in policy forms coverage structures and commercial insurance lines.
Professional designations such as CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) or CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) are preferred.
Excellent analytical negotiation and relationship-management skills.
