Job Summary
This SDE - Mobile App Developer (iOS) position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the product experience of a new service for developers. A successful candidate will bring Mobile App development expertise using React Native on Android & iOS desire to have an industry wide impact and ability to work within a fast moving team to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
- Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
- Develop/maintain operational rigor for a new Mobile App using React Native on Android & iOS.
- Own and deliver key features within a new interactive developer focused experience on AWS Builder Center Mobile App.
- Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
- Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
- Optimize performance accessibility and maintainability of the platforms front-end components

- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience with Mobile App
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
