Cloud Engineer

We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer to work in a collaborative and innovative environment support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This is an amazing opportunity to directly support global Command and Control Mission Support (C2MS) program. You will be a critical part of the Cloud Systems Administration team maintaining the C2MS cloud.

• Focuses on the customer to deliver a solid product.
• Responsible for resolving IT softwareandinfrastructure (servers network security etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensureappropriate functionof hardwaresoftwareor system functional specifications.
• Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure andestablishesand maintains security as it relates to users.
• Appliessecurity patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
• Supports new infrastructure projects.
• Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.

• Active T3 investigation with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
• ExperienceinAmazon Web Services Azureand other commercial cloud vendors.
• Experience creating and editing CloudFormationTerraForm Azure Resource Manager and otherIaCtemplates.
• Cloud Foundation Certification (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Azure Fundamentalsetc.)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Containers.
• Experience working in an Agile organization.
• Automation and Scripting experience using PythonJavascript GO and other scripting languages.
• Experience developing dashboards in CloudWatch Splunk and ELK.
• DevSecOpsautomation and pipeline experience.
• Interestedin performance monitoring and developing KPIs.
• Knowledge of Special Operations SOCOM and C4ISR systems and networks.
• Knowledge of DoD information assurance policy and regulatory requirements.
