Job Summary
The Industrialization Project Engineer leads engineering efforts that support the planning design and improvement of manufacturing tools fixtures and production processes. This role drives crossfunctional coordination to resolve production issues implement process enhancements and ensure all documentation and technical requirements are met. The engineer partners closely with Facilities Procurement Manufacturing Engineering Operations Quality Assurance and Materials & Processes Engineering to manage and deliver projects such as:
- New equipment acquisition and industrialization initiatives
- Technology insertion and process modernization projects
- Facility upgrades reconfigurations and workflow optimization efforts
Job Responsibilities
- Develops evaluates improves and documents manufacturing processes
- Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC PFMEA
- Analyses manufacturing process flows continually for the improvements of quality cost reduction lead-time reduction for new work
- Collarborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods
- Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
- Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
- Determines required material and tools for production
- Creates and registers changes to work instructions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline required. Manufacturing Mechanical Chemical or Aerospace Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- 5 years of project management experience including 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with familiarity of equipment installations and construction trades (electrical industrial plumbing concrete etc.) from a project management perspective.
- 2 years computer applications including MS Office Suite MS Project (or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Program Management Risk Management MS Project and Continuous Improvement highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are highly desired.
- Construction large capital project and aerospace experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing projects in a matrix environment.
- Energetic and enthusiastic and portrays these traits openly.
- Excellent communicator can sell concepts to people at all levels within & external to the organization including engineers.
- Able to see big picture yet also able to drill down and manage details.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Good problem solver.
- Well organized.
- Self-starter self-manager type.
- Able to multi-task and manage numerous projects easily.
- Thrives on excellent interaction with people.

Salary Range: $115 931.00 - $145000.00
