Job Summary

Job Description Mechanical Completion Engineer The Mechanical Completion Engineer is responsible for planning coordinating and executing Mechanical Completion (MC) activities to ensure all systems and subsystems are completed documented and handed over to Pre-commissioning and Commissioning teams in accordance with project procedures quality requirements and schedule. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for Mechanical Completion activities ensuring construction works are completed and verified prior to handover to Pre-commissioning and Commissioning teams. • Perform systemization and subsystem definition in accordance with the project completion strategy and commissioning sequence. • Manage completion database and scoping including preparation control and tracking of Inspection Test Records (ITRs) check sheets and completion dossiers. • Maintain and update the System Completion Database such as Omega365 PIMS Go-Completions Hexagon or similar. • Coordinate with Construction and QC teams to ensure all required inspections tests and documentation are completed for Mechanical Completion. • Support development of ITRs completion certificates and system handover documentation. • Track and manage punch lists LOSH items and outstanding work to ensure timely closure before system handover. • Interface with Construction QA/QC and Commissioning teams to ensure completion activities align with project schedule and commissioning priorities. • Assist in preparation of system dossiers and turnover packages for handover to Pre commissioning and Commissioning teams. • Monitor and report Mechanical Completion progress including status of ITRs punch lists and system readiness. • Ensure Mechanical Completion activities comply with project QA/QC procedures and documentation requirements. • Promote and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements including safe work practices and coordination with site safety procedures. • Provide guidance to construction teams to complete work according to Mechanical Completion and commissioning requirements. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects with experience in Mechanical Completion Pre-commissioning or Commissioning. • Experience with completion management systems such as Omega365 PIMS Go-Completions Hexagon or equivalent. • Strong knowledge of Mechanical Completion processes system handover procedures ITR management and punch list management. • Experience working with construction QA/QC and commissioning teams in EPC or offshore projects. Location Project Site / Yard (e.g. QMFY) with possible support to offshore execution phase.
