Job Functions: The Crate Builder will construct custom wooden crates and packaging solutions for shipping and storage by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standard.
- Build custom wooden crates skids and pallets according to specifications and blueprints
- Measure cut and assemble lumber using hand tools and power tools (saws nail guns drills etc.)
- Interpret technical drawings and work orders accurately
- Ensure all crates meet structural and shipping requirements
- Inspect finished products for quality and durability
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
- Assist with loading labeling and preparing crates for shipment as needed
