Job Summary

Position: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Short-Term Temp

Location: Encino CA (with the ability to drive to other sites within a 20 mile radius)

Start Date: April 13th

Shift: Day shift (start times 9:0010:00 AM) MondayFriday

Pay: $40/hr

Duration: 5-8 weeks

Employment Type: Temporary/Short-term varying hours (from 1 day/week up to 40 hours/week)

Job Summary:
We are seeking licensed California Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) to join a short-term temporary assignment (5-8 weeks). This role is ideal for professionals looking for flexible scheduling and hands-on laboratory experience. Candidates must hold an active California MLT license; CLS candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine laboratory testing and procedures in compliance with established protocols.
Accurately document and report test results.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and quality control.
Follow safety and infection control procedures at all times.
Collaborate with lab staff to support efficient workflow.
Travel to multiple work sites as needed (Within 20 mile radius around the Encino area).

Qualifications:

Active California MLT license (required).
Ability and willingness to drive to different work sites in Encino Beverly Hills and Torrance.
Experience working in a clinical laboratory preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability for day shifts Monday through Friday (start times 910 AM).

Hours & Flexibility:

Temporary assignment with variable hours: some positions may require full-time (40 hours/week) while others may be 1 day/week.
MondayFriday schedule only.
