Transaction Execution Specialist – Loans – Senior Associate

As a Transaction Execution Specialist in our Credit Product Delivery team you will provide expertise in the negotiation and review of facility documentation and end-to-end transaction execution management for credit will partner closely with JPMorgans Coverage teams as well as internal/external legal counsel and facility agents.

Job responsibilities:

• Deliver best-in-class documentation negotiation management for Global Corporate Bank clients including end-to-end transaction execution management of credit facilities and ancillary documentation with a focus on the Latin American market..

• Review and manage the negotiation of legal documentation across corporate lending categories with a focus on Investment Grade and Non-Investment Grade syndicated and bilateral facilities and trade finance facilities ranging from vanilla to complex documentation.

• Liaising with internal/external counselto prepare and review transactional documentation.

• Draw on expertise to suggest solutions for appropriate stakeholders (Bankers and/or Debt Capital Markets Credit Legal Compliance Tax Ops etc) as necessary ensuring they are brought into the debate in a timely manner to reach a resolution.

• Manage controls framework reporting and escalation for transaction execution; including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiations.

• Maintain oversight of the deal closing process

• Actively contribute to GB CDS wider projects & initiatives.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in documentation negotiation management and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of credit facilities loan documentation LSTA standards and auxiliary documentation for Loan product. .

• Solid understanding of credit execution transaction management and lending products and agreements including but not limited to leveraged finance acquisition finance and working capital finance.

• Proficiency in credit products and banking processes with proven experience in managing complex transactions.

• Ability to identify problems and escalate these promptly.

• Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset.

• Legal background is an advantage.

• Good organization skills and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines including strong prioritization skills.

• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with the Front Office globally.

• Confident self-starter assertive and energetic.

• Set high standards of performance for oneself.

• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables v-lookups etc) Word and PowerPoint.

• Fluency in English.

• Advanced Spanish is strongly preferred.
