Weekly Pay: $2047.57 per week (based on 34.5 hours)
Position Summary
A healthcare facility in Columbia SC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical / Telemetry for a contract assignment. The RN will provide professional nursing care to patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills effective communication and the ability to deliver compassionate patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans
Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient progress throughout recovery
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document vital signs symptoms and treatment responses
Maintain accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and discharge instructions
Follow infection control standards and patient safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
Strong patient assessment clinical judgment and time management skills
Required Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Certifications
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
