Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Unit in Albuquerque NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with calm clear communication. You will document observations coordinate with on-site staff and local partners and deliver professional customer service while living our agile reliable innovative people-first integrity-driven culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government facility.
- Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws including maintaining required firearms qualifications controlling access to restricted areas and documenting required checks.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site leadership and local law enforcement as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns through established channels.
- Complete detailed incident reports activity logs and shift handoffs preserving security-related information and evidence when required by policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
