Job Summary

Student Assistantship Program (StAP) Internships


The Student Assistantship Program (StAP) provides hands-on experiences in a professional setting for Ohio Wesleyan University students who desire to complement their liberal arts education with practical experiences. The StAP program enables students to translate what they have learned in the classroom into practical solutions in a real-world work environment here on campus. Positions are open to all returning students (graduating seniors cannot apply). Learn more about the program at: to Apply:

  3. Complete this brief application in ADP as the final step in submitting your application!


The StAP program follows a strict timeline. This is the final step in submitting your application


  • The minimum cumulative GPA requirement is 2.5.
  • Students are permitted to work a maximum of 6 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters; students are not permitted to work over break periods or during exam week.
  • Students are able to work 1 additional on-campus job with a StAP Internship however they are not permitted to work over 20 hours per week.
  • StAP Interns cannot be an RA at the same time due to the responsibilities of an RA.
  • Students can only hold 1 StAP Internship each semester.
