Job Summary

Knoxville Community School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following position for the school year:

ElementarySchool Counselor

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements and demonstrate the ability to:

Required Qualifications

Masters degree with a valid Iowa license and Professional School Counselor (K-8) endorsement
Previous teaching experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive individualized guidance and counseling services toelementary students.
Support students academic personal social and emotional development.
Collaborate with students families teachers and administrators to promote student success.
Assist students in setting and achieving academic postsecondary and career goals.
Address personal and social challenges that may impact student well-being.
Foster a safe inclusive and supportive school environment for all students.

Compensation

Current minimum annual salary: approximately$51289.00with anticipated increase for the 26-27 school year.
Placement on the salary schedule will be based on education and experience.
