As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality medical care and managing a diverse range of emergency cases. Your role will directly contribute to the well-being of the community ensuring timely and effective treatment in critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Assess diagnose and treat acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Perform medical procedures as necessary to stabilize patients
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in emergency response drills and training
- Stay current with best practices in emergency medicine
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in emergency medicine preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
