As a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions while collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care provided at our facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures related to orthopedic conditions
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up for patients
- Participate in case discussions and team meetings
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Experience in orthopedic surgery as a resident or associate
- Strong surgical skills and clinical knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high standards of patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Level I Trauma
Schedule: 10-hour shifts
Daily Volume: 10 cases
Must be board-certified
