This on-site contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.
In this role you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients ensuring their safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals contributing to high-quality clinical outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients during surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations
- Develop anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and safety
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Associate-level experience in anesthesiology preferably in pediatrics
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Current medical license to practice in Lebanon
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p
No call requirement
Routine pediatric ambulatory procedures to complex surgeries in children of all ages
Must be comfortable with adult cases as well
Supervision Model: 1:2 or 1:3
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
