What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor alarms cameras and other building systems as assigned documenting observations and promptly communicating unusual conditions through the appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing clear directions coordinating with on-site contacts and/or contacting public responders when required.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization maintaining visitor logs as assigned and completing reports and shift documentation per Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 years of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
