About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Brisbanebased parttime or full time Survey Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying toward a surveying qualification and looking to build a longterm career in the industry. The role offers the potential to transition into a fulltime Graduate Surveyor position upon successful completion of studies. As a Survey Assistant you will work closely with our experienced Surveyors supporting a range of field and officebased tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing various types of surveying tasks in both field and office based within a given environment
  • Delivering accurate and verified results in a professional manner to the client
  • Performing data processing and management tasks
  • Assisting with document preparation including location of existing survey control safety documentation
  • Assisting in the development of new techniques and procedures

What were looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to be currently studying towards a certificate in surveying along with:

  • Basic knowledge of surveying principles and practices (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Possess a valid Class C Drivers licence
