Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Temple TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will provide customer service and clear communication with store teams and guests while documenting activity with integrity. This post requires a valid drivers license and Level III armed certification.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patrons tenants and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a retail location.
- Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of sales floors common areas parking lots loading areas and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and/or suspicious activity in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas help to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct through visible presence and provide directions and assistance as needed.
- Carry handle and secure assigned firearm and other issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies licensing requirements and post orders; complete detailed incident reports and maintain required logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
