Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and energetic Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within a fast-paced office environment in Omaha Nebraska. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and participants while providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth program operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized customer focused and comfortable working with a diverse population while managing multiple administrative tasks throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk and Guest Services
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Provide basic and accurate program information in person via phone and through email communication
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative and clerical assistance across multiple areas of the program
- Support daily operational needs of the office and staff
- Answer incoming calls and forward requests for appointments or information
Communication and Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between participants and case managers to facilitate effective communication
- Assist in coordinating participant needs with internal staff members
Office Operations
- Receive sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Maintain office safety procedures and control access to confidential information
- Respond to questions concerns and complaints in a friendly and timely manner
Participant Support
- Oversee the agency job search space and assist participants with computer access
- Help manage participant resources such as distributing headphones collecting timesheets and receiving documentation
Additional Duties
- Perform other administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support office operations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience working in an office or administrative environment preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work with a diverse population
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic
