General Operative

Location: Wigton Cumbria
Role Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours:40 Hours - 08:00 - 17:00 - Monday to Friday
Rate: 14.80 per hour

We are currently recruiting General Operatives to join a well-established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands-on role supporting a variety of ongoing projects offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys practical work being part of a team and getting stuck into a range of tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
Assisting with a range of on-site projects
Handling moving and organising materials
Using basic hand and power tools
Supporting skilled team members with day-to-day tasks
Maintaining a clean safe and organised working environment
Following all health and safety procedures

About you
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Willing to take on a variety of practical tasks
Able to travel to the site as there is no public transport available
Previous experience in a hands-on or labouring role would be beneficial but is not essential
