Caterpillar is seeking a DigitalAsset Management(DAM)Business Analyst to support our Marketing Content Product Management team and helpexecutedigital initiativestoenableourbusinessgoals.In this role you will play a keypartin improving how internal teams and dealers search manage and use digital assets acrossourenterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
Youllcollaborate closely with business partners product teams and engineering to understand user needsidentifypain points and translate insights into solutions that streamline the asset lifecycle.Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detailstrong communicationskills and the ability tothinkbigpicturewhile appreciating why the smallest details matter.This position is essential toenablingfaster more consistent and higher quality content delivery across Caterpillar.
As a member of the Digital Marketing Content Product Management Team theDAMBusiness Analystwillplay a strategic role in Caterpillars Content Supply Chain. This criticalinitiativeisfocused ondriving projects that streamline marketing operations improve data consistency across platforms and enhance how we deliver content toourcustomers. Your work ensuresasset workflows metadata and integrations acrosstheAdobe application stackoperatesmoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Do:
Responsiblefor creatinganalyzingandvalidatingbusiness requirements translating them into detailed functional requirements and user stories defining acceptance criteria and test cases and tracking dependencies.
Lead the discovery process to capture analyze and document detailed business requirements through interviews workshops and process mapping activities.
Define and refine the product backlog by collaborating closely with the Product Owner and Lead Librarian translating highlevel epics and features into precise sprintready user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Authoruser stories for engineeringdriven initiatives ensuring technical enhancements are wellscoped testable and aligned to product goals.
Participate indailyscumssprintplanning meetingsrevealsandretrospectives.
Use mockups to visualize workflows screen layouts and functional requirements before development.
Inspect the product progress at the end of everysprint and accept or reject the work that has been done by the Developmentteam.
Projectmanagecomponents of complex cross product initiatives including prioritizationdefinitionof user stories and risk and dependency tracking.
Collaborate with Product QA and stakeholders to create training andenablementdocumentation as part of solution delivery.
Support AEM Assets folder taxonomychangesand metadata cleanup to align with enterprise governance standards.
Identifygaps and recommend process improvements to support businessobjectivesand operational efficiency.
Responsible when necessary for acting as Product Owner for larger more complex projects with high value to the organization.
What You Will Have:
Bachelors degreepreferably inComputerScience InformationSystemsEngineeringorarelatedfield.
3 years in digital product management business analysis user experience user research digital strategy or related function.
Experience creating mockups wireframes and visual artifacts to support requirements
Experience with documentation and diagramming tools (VisioLucidchart Miro Figma etc.)
Familiarity with a DAM (Digital Asset Management) systempreferably Adobe.
Detail oriented well organized and accountable with a proven ability tomaintainaccuracy and consistency across multiple projects.
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Experience managing projects usingproductmanagement and/or Agile software tools suchas AhaAzure DevOpsorJIRA.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to translatebusiness friendlyrequirementsprovided by keystakeholdersintostructured technically sound requirements for development teams.
Knowledge of UAT activities taskstoolsand techniques; ability to design implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
Proven experience supporting large-scale complex initiatives with interdependent systems and multiple stakeholder groups.
Considerations ForTopCandidates:
Experience with Workflow Automation and Content Supply Chaintools and processes that support content creation and delivery.
Background in digital marketing practices and strategies.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive emotional or potentially controversial situations effectively particularly during periods of change management.
Working knowledge of Adobe applications including Assets Workfront the Adobe Creative Suite.
ProficiencyinMicrosofttoolsincluding ExcelWordTeamsandPowerPoint.
Experience working withonshore/offshore teammodel.
