Job Description
Position : Workshop Manager Assistant
Area: Brackenfell
Salary : Up to R30K CTC per month pending experience.
Permanent role full time on site.
Requirements
- Competent with AutoCAD LT Inventor Solid Works
- Experience in managing a Steel Service Centre/steel engineering workshop
- Experience in the general operation of laser profile cutting machines CNC bending welding (Mig and laser) fabrication
- 100% healthy with a good attendance track record
- Pay attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated
- Be active and enthusiastic
- Willing to work overtime to complete tasks
- Must have strong personality and a good team player.
- Very good communication skills
- Valid drivers licence.
Tasks
- Assistant to manager in all aspects
- Responsible for the workshop in conjunction with the workshop foreman
- Maintain and keep to production schedule
- Generate drawings on CAD and inventor software
- Quote prices to customers
- Generate job cards delivery notes and invoices in conjunction with other internal sales staff
- Organise transport for local deliveries in conjunction with other internal sales staff
