Job Summary
We are seeking a warm enthusiastic and patient-focused Part-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team in both Lumino Feilding and Lumino Manawatu Dental.
This unique role offers one permanent day each week (Fridays) at our Manawatu Dental clinic where youll support our dentist and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Depending on your availability and the needs of our practices additional hours may be offered Monday-Thursday at our Lumino Feilding location providing great flexibility and variety.
All training for this position will take place at our Feilding practice ensuring you feel confident and supported as you step into the role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting dentists chairside during procedures
- Maintaining strict sterilisation and infection control standards
- Welcoming patients and managing appointments
- Handling phone enquiries and general administration
- Creating a calm professional patient experience
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in dental assisting or reception is preferred but not essential as we are willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent communication organisational and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organised and able to multitask
- Friendly warm and confident
