Offering all our OEM clients a customized solution we pride ourselves on being able to tailor what we do to meet the changing needs of our clients. Whether you need a change in volume or a tighter deadline we will always do our utmost to get the job done to the highest possible standard.
DUTIES:
- Maintain and manage MRP processing and planning systems
- Tactical purchasing of materials and components based on MRP output
- Strategic sourcing from LCC suppliers
- Monitor and track material costs for purchased goods
- Coordinate logistics activities of inbound materials with freight carriers and receiving department.
- Monitor and report supplier performance monthly
- Maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed and kept current
- Continuously assess and improve purchasing processes by reviewing standards costs and supplier feedback.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2years of purchasing experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong excel skills and analytical competence
- Proficient in a working ERP environment and understanding MRP
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks with appropriate prioritization
- Some travel required
