Overview
Were seeking a highly skilled Shipping Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize highvolume smallparcel operations across multiple carriers and platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment understands the nuances of domestic and international shipping and can bridge the gap between logistics and technology to keep packages moving efficiently and costeffectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily smallparcel shipping operations ensuring accuracy speed and compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize and manage multiple shipping software platforms and APIs to generate labels process orders and streamline workflows.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments including documentation customs declarations and clearance processes.
- Troubleshoot label creation issues address verification errors and system inconsistencies by collaborating closely with IT and technical support teams.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends reduce costs and recommend the most economical carrier and service levels for various shipment profiles.
- Maintain strong working relationships with carriers postal services and thirdparty logistics partners.
- Ensure adherence to postal regulations international shipping standards and compliance requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve shipping processes to enhance efficiency accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in highvolume smallparcel logistics or fulfillment environments.
- Proficiency with multiple shipping software systems carrier APIs and integrated ordermanagement tools.
- Strong understanding of USPS UPS FedEx DHL and other carrier requirements including international shipping and customs procedures.
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot technical issues related to shipping systems integrations and data flows.
- Analytical mindset with experience using shipping metrics to drive costsaving decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with IT operations and customer service teams.
- Detailoriented organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP or WMS platforms.
- Familiarity with automation tools batch processing and highvolume label generation.
- Knowledge of HS codes duties/taxes and international compliance requirements.
