As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Big Bear Lake CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location you will conduct routine foot patrols of guest areas back-of-house spaces and exterior grounds staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance document observations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering service that reflects our agile reliable innovative people-first culture and integrity-driven teamwork.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures resort policies and post orders and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site management and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hotel and resort areas including lobbies corridors amenities parking areas and the property perimeter observing for irregular activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points verifying credentials when required and directing guests and vendors to the appropriate location.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation including patrol logs and noteworthy activity and escalate issues through the chain of command as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
