Inventory Control

As an Inventory Control teammate you will work with the inventory team to analyze investigate and maintain accurate inventory data within the Profit Centre. You will evaluate and manage inventory procedures to support accurate product availability and timely customer addition you will provide support to other teammates in the PC by assisting with product inquiries.

Additional duties will include:

• Optimizing inventory efficiencies by executing auto-replenishments
• Fine-tuning warehouse organization and settings within our system
• Using data to identify efficiency opportunities
• Assist in preparation and execution of inventory counts
• Communicating any inventory issues and working to identify root causes 

Preferred Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Possesses excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers teammates and vendors
• Energetic self-motivated and able to work independently
• Intermediate math skills
• Experience and/or ability to learn and operate the applicable software systems (Microsoft 365 M3 Factory Track)
• Able to analyze sales and inventory data and understand stock transaction history

Qualifications :

What We Are Looking for From You:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
• A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
• Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
• Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
• Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment
• Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
• Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
• Intermediate math skills

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
• Experience working for a plumbing wholesaler
• Experience using Trend and Eclipse

Salary Range - $45-50k
