Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up maintain and manage document control processes in accordance with project standards
  • Upload track distribute and archive documents using EDMS systems primarily Procore
  • Ensure all drawings specifications RFIs submittals and correspondence are current and properly version-controlled
  • Coordinate document workflows between engineering construction quality safety and project management teams
  • Monitor document status revisions approvals and transmittals
  • Generate document control logs reports and trackers as required
  • Perform quality checks to ensure document accuracy completeness and compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of project documentation
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews by ensuring proper document traceability
  • Assist project teams with EDMS usage and document retrieval when needed

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 23 years of experience in a document control role preferably within pipeline construction or industrial projects
  • Intermediate hands-on experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
  • Procore experience is preferred (intermediate level or higher)
  • Strong understanding of document numbering revision control and approval workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high document volumes in a fast-paced project environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on natural gas oil & gas or pipeline projects
  • Familiarity with Alberta-based construction or regulatory documentation standards
  • Exposure to engineering and construction drawings (IFC shop drawings as-builts)
  • Procore SharePoint or other EDMS experience is an asset
