STATUS: 30 Temp - Hourly

FortisAlberta is seeking a detailoriented and customerfocused Customer Operations Coordinator Student to support our Meter Data Management team.

In this role you will help ensure accurate customer data support problem resolution and contribute to efficient daily operations. Youll work with multiple systems collaborate with team members across different locations and gain valuable experience in data analysis customer service and process improvement.

Job Description:
Monitor the work group email inbox and assign items to appropriate team members for prompt response.
Execute queries using established scripts to assess data quality and identify issues requiring followup.
Assist with investigating and resolving customerrelated problems from internal systems inquiries and escalations.
Prepare written or verbal customer communications using established templates.
Support internal and external customer requests and help manage work backlogs.
Participate in testing updates or changes to internal systems.
Organize and format documentation supporting Customer Operations processes.
Complete workflow inbox investigations and update system records accordingly.
Assist with investigating ratechange determinations.
Use specialized software to ensure timely delivery of energy data to the market.
Compile data and develop recommendations to support process improvements and system enhancements.
Conduct research on electrical energy topics as assigned.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer data.
Collaborate with remote team members to support effective communication and task completion.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Business Administration Economics or Commerce degree program and returning to fulltime studies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to challenge existing processes and recommend improvements.
Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
Forwardthinking mindset with an interest in leveraging technology.

Important:
Temporary student role.
Monday Friday 40 hours per week.
Based out of our Calgary office.
All successful candidates will be subject to an education verification criminal background check and must provide references.
Additional testing may be required.
