Industry Product Engineering (IPE)is SAPs central Product & Engineering unit tasked with driving a comprehensive industry mandate across all Lines of Business (LoB). In alignment with SAPs AI and cloud strategy Industry Product Engineering revolutionizes businesses by defining next-practice processes and developing industry-specific applications for strategic markets. What youll do

As an End-to-End Industry Product Manager for Aerospace & Defense (f/m/d) you will be pivotal in shaping and driving our industry product strategy. Your primary focus is to enable our customers complex value chains through specialized solution AI innovations and nurture our partner ecosystem. Collaborative work with your industry product management team development marketing and field teams is crucial for success.

• Define Industry Vision and Product Strategy: Develop and own the Product Opportunity Map and end-to-end roadmap. Drive strategic choices (build/buy/partner) and support key initiatives as well as comprehensive industry plans. Derive investment proposals and drive business cases.
• Drive Innovation of SAPs Strategic Pillars: Identify and create AI and data-driven use cases supporting SAP strategy. Align stakeholders and support commercialization with product marketing. Collaborate and validate with key customers to ensure market fit.
• Own Key End-to-End Industry Processes: Develop comprehensive scenarios and reference architectures ensuring product accuracy.
• Manage End-to-End Industry Portfolio: Promote key processes across business lines and guide development execution. Coordinate with corporate and business line teams to achieve consensus.
• Market & Competitive Leadership: Understand industry trends and competitive insights to shape the SAP industry portfolio. Evaluate ecosystem and identify strategic partners. Establish yourself as the Industry Product Thought Leader positioning yourself as the leading authority shaping partnerships and actively engaging with analysts and industry councils.

What you bring

Required skills

• 7 years of experience in product management solution management solution architecture or related roles with a focus on industry processes and solutions
• Deep understanding of Aerospace & Defense industry verticals and their end-to-end processes
• High interest in AI and ideally first-hand experience with AI in business context
• Excellent understanding of the entire SAP portfolio with strong knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex industry needs into product requirements
• Excellent C-level communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving collaboration
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus
• Fluent English and German

Optional skills

• Pre-sales sales or consulting experience is a plus
• Experience with defense contracting and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and supply chain processes

Votre rôle

En tant que Chef de produit sectoriel de bout en bout pour lAérospatiale et la défense (f/h/d) vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la création et le pilotage de notre stratégie produit sectorielle. Votre mission principale sera daccompagner les chaînes de valeur complexes de nos clients grâce à des solutions spécialisées et des innovations basées sur lIA et de développer notre écosystème de partenaires. Un travail collaboratif avec vos équipes terrain de gestion de produit sectoriel de développement et de marketing sera la clé de votre réussite.

• Définir une vision pour le secteur et la stratégie produit; développer une carte des opportunités produit et une feuille de route intégrale et en assumer la responsabilité. Prendre des décisions stratégiques (choisir entre développement acquisition ou partenaire) et accompagner des initiatives clés ainsi que des plans sectoriels complets. Proposer des investissements et piloter des analyses de rentabilité.
• Agir en tant que moteur dinnovation pour les piliers stratégiques de SAP; identifier et créer des cas dutilisation pilotés par les données et lIA pour appuyer la stratégie de SAP. Veiller à lalignement des parties prenantes et assister la commercialisation via le marketing produit. Participer à la validation des produits avec le client pour en garantir ladéquation au marché.
• Prendre en charge des processus sectoriels clés de bout en bout: élaborer des scénarios complets et des architectures de référence pour assurer la fiabilité du produit.
• Gérer un portefeuille sectoriel de bout en bout: favoriser des processus clés dans les différentes branches professionnelles et guider lexécution du développement. Coordonner les équipes de lentreprise et des différentes branches pour parvenir à un consensus.
• Leadership sur le marché et compétitivité: comprendre les tendances du secteur et les analyses compétitives pour développer le portefeuille sectoriel de SAP. Évaluer lécosystème et identifier des partenaires stratégiques. Assumer une position de leader éclairé en matière de produit sectoriel devenir lexpert de référence nouer des partenariats et interagir avec les analystes et comités du secteur.

Votre profil

Compétences requises

• Plus de 7ans dexpérience dans la gestion de produit la gestion de solution larchitecture de solution ou dans des rôles liés avec un accent sur les solutions et processus sectoriels
• Connaissance approfondie des segments du secteur de lAérospatiale et de la défense et de leurs processus de bout en bout
• Intérêt particulier pour lIA et idéalement expérience pratique avec lIA dans un contexte professionnel
• Excellente compréhension de la totalité du portefeuille SAP solides connaissances de SAPS/4HANAPublicCloud souhaitées
• Grandes compétences danalyse et capacité à traduire des besoins sectoriels complexes en exigences produit
• Excellentes compétences de communication et de présentation avec les hauts dirigeants
• Expérience de travail avec des équipes transversales et capacité à favoriser la collaboration
• Baccalauréat dans un domaine pertinent; un diplôme détudes supérieures ou un MBA serait un atout
• Excellent niveau danglais et dallemand
