Our customers in the oil and gas industry rely on fast delivery of goods because operations such as those on a drilling platform must continue 24/7. That is why these customer orders are shipped internationally as quickly as possible from our warehouse in Rotterdam. Delivering time critical goods is one of DSVs strengths. This is where we shine. Going above and beyond to ensure fast delivery. And the best part: Youre on it.

How you do this Our customer informs you about which goods have been ordered from the supplier. You contact the supplier and make sure the order arrives at our warehouse on time. Your colleagues in the warehouse check the order register the goods and if needed repack them for delivery to our customer within the your role you coordinate with the warehouse and support our customer. Together you ensure a smooth and fast order process. You achieve this by:

staying in close contact with your colleagues in the warehouse and our key accounts (for example about documentation damages missing items or delayed and incomplete deliveries);
processing incoming customer orders in our wms;
supporting further transport of the order and gathering the correct transport documentation;
handling claims and resolving issues in the order process;
monitoring deliveries and keeping our customer relations updated about ongoing shipments.

You bring
you enjoy working together with colleagues and have a can do attitude;
at least 2 years of work experience in customer service within a logistics environment;
a good command of Dutch (minimum B1 level) and English.
