Configuration Management Systems Engineer Mobile App Packaging & Deployment

JLL Center of Excellence (COE)

Position Overview

The JLL Technologies Configuration Management Team seeks an experienced IT professional to support and administer system configuration management technologies with a specialization in mobile device application packaging and deployment. This role involves incident management and resolution while collaborating with global teams to plan test and execute technology initiatives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Management

Publish applications from Apple iOS App Store and Google Play to mobile devices using Apple Business Manager and Managed Google Play store
Package and deploy software applications to Apple iOS and Android mobile endpoints using Microsoft Intune
Test validate and deploy application updates on scheduled or as-needed basis
Manage and track use of developer certificates

Technical Support & Documentation

Provide deployment status reporting and ad hoc analysis
Participate in large-scale projects as part of the Configuration Management team
Support follow-the-sun global support model for critical system issues and maintenance
Troubleshoot complex end-user issues and coordinate with team members support teams and vendors
Author internal documentation including Knowledge Base articles environment diagrams and configuration procedures

Process Management

Adherence to corporate standards and global Change Management processes.
Create and document procedures as part of technology lifecycle management
Assist in establishing implementing and managing system configuration management programs with Intune

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

In-depth experience with iOS and Android mobile operating systems
Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune ecosystem for mobile device management
Proven experience with mobile application packaging and deployment using Intune
Experience with Apple Store and Google Play store for enterprise application publishing
Proficiency with Intune and EntraID user and group management
Experience with Apple Developer program and certificate management

Professional Skills

Excellent technical analytical problem-solving and organizational abilities
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams
Self-motivated and disciplined professional capable of managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mobile application testing methodologies
Data handling and reporting experience using sources like Intune to Microsoft Power BI
Experience communicating directly with Executive Leadership
Background working with global distributed teams
