Senior Software Engineer, Infra Supply Chain Automation

Key job responsibilities
As the technical lead for DC Build Management you will architect design and implement systems to streamline tracking of AWS data-center delivery ranging from real-estate energy procurement water procurement to construction delivery. Youll get the chance to use AWS latest technologies to build and deploy enterprise-class products.

A day in the life
You will own end-to-end system design and drive implementation across the team while mentoring engineers through design reviews establishing engineering best practices and contributing high-quality code that sets the standard for the team to emulate. You will lead the design and architecture of DC Build Management systems that track critical data center delivery milestones across AWSs global infrastructure ensuring reliability and scalability as construction portfolios grow. You will architect and implement integration solutions that connect third-party construction management software with internal AWS systems transforming manual tracking processes into automated workflows that provide real-time visibility into billions of dollars in annual construction spend. You will drive cross-team technical initiatives by partnering with engineering product program and business operations stakeholders to translate complex DC delivery requirements into scalable software architectures balancing near-term delivery needs against long-term extensibility to minimize architectural churn.

- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
