DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
Perform all necessary pesticide and fertilizer applications on golf course and landscape areas following pre-determined schedules and special requests. Verify that all pesticides are applied according to label directions and that safety precautions are followed. Comply with all guidelines of state and federal statues and in such a manner as to pose the least possible risks to the employees guests and the environment. Maintain true and accurate records of inspections locations amounts and types of pest control materials utilized in the course of assigned tasks. Maintain pesticide inventory records. Maintain chemical room in a neat and orderly fashion. Supervise and train landscapers on routine golf course maintenance tasks. Monitor all pest levels and thresholds. Perform routine golf course maintenance tasks as need including moving fairways changing holes and mowing greens.
Assist management in hiring training scheduling evaluating counseling disciplining and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Provide assistance to coworkers verifying they understand their tasks. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; verify uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards anticipate and address guests service needs assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others support team to reach common goals and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing greater than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Related Work Experience: 2 years related work experience required.
Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: Valid Drivers License
