Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Compensation Consultant to support executive compensation strategy and governance within a large publicly traded organization. This role is critical in ensuring executive compensation programs are well-structured compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with the companys overall business strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in public company executive compensation strong analytical and modeling skills and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership legal teams and external advisors.

Location: Irvine CA (preferred) Santa Clara CA or Toronto ON

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the governance framework and operational structure for executive compensation programs.

  • Manage and coordinate the annual executive compensation calendar including Compensation Committee preparation and regulatory filing timelines.

  • Prepare executive compensation presentations and maintain tracking systems for key decisions and deliverables.

  • Partner with Legal Finance HR leadership and external compensation advisors on executive compensation initiatives.

  • Support shareholder engagement preparation related to executive compensation matters.

  • Develop structured decision frameworks templates and documentation standards for compensation governance.

  • Maintain detailed records of approvals decisions and action items to support compliance and audit readiness.

  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate executive pay structures and incentive programs.

  • Manage equity compensation guidelines and budget parameters aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Support public company disclosures and regulatory filings including proxy statements CD&A 10-K and 8-K.

  • Monitor regulatory and market developments impacting executive compensation and prepare recommendations accordingly.

  • Ensure executive compensation processes are scalable well-documented and operationally efficient.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in compensation-related roles.

  • Minimum 7 years of executive compensation experience within a public company environment.

  • Experience supporting Compensation Committee governance and planning processes.

  • Strong knowledge of executive compensation regulations disclosures and reporting cycles.

  • Experience participating in shareholder engagement or shareholder meeting preparation.

  • Advanced Excel modeling financial analysis and scenario planning skills.

  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives and maintain organized governance processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience interacting with senior executives and leadership teams.

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • Bachelors degree preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Experience working within a Fortune 100 or other large publicly traded organization or

  • Experience with a compensation consulting firm advising public companies.
