Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead a strategic DevSecOps transformation initiative
with strong focus on the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise and the modernization of
cloud delivery practices across AWS environments.
This role will drive repository pipeline and boards migration architect GitHub Actions workflows embed
GitHub Advanced Security into the delivery lifecycle and provide technical leadership for containerized
and serverless deployments on AWS. Fluent English is mandatory and proven experience in international
projects is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise including repositories
pipelines boards and governance practices. - Design and implement reusable GitHub Actions workflows for build test SAST security scanning
packaging ECR push and deployment. - Drive the implementation and adoption of GitHub Advanced Security including CodeQL secret
scanning dependency review security gates and vulnerability management. - Define and enforce CI/CD standards branching strategies pull request practices and GitHub-based
governance. - Act as the technical lead for AWS modernization initiatives with focus on containerization on Amazon
EKS and serverless solutions based on AWS Lambda. - Design and maintain Terraform code for AWS infrastructure including EKS Lambda IAM networking
and related services. - Support container engineering practices including Helm image hardening and ECR lifecycle policies. - Contribute to serverless architectures using AWS Lambda together with API Gateway Step Functions
EventBridge and SQS. - Embed security and compliance controls into delivery pipelines supporting shift-left practices security
gates and automated remediation workflows. - Work closely with platform security cloud and application teams to align technical solutions with
business priorities. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to runbooks ADRs onboarding materials standards and
operational best practices. - Actively use GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot Claude and ChatGPT to accelerate engineering and
migration activities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Advanced hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise including repositories pull requests branching
strategies and migration initiatives. - Advanced expertise in GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline architecture. - Strong experience with GitHub Advanced Security and security integration in delivery pipelines. - Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure provisioning and management. - Strong experience with AWS services relevant to modern cloud delivery especially EKS Lambda IAM
networking and ECR. - Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads especially in Amazon EKS environments. - Solid experience with Azure DevOps as a migration source environment including pipelines
repositories and boards.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices automation compliance and secure cloud delivery. - Ability to lead technical transformation initiatives in a global organization. - Fluent English both written and spoken. - Proven experience in international projects including collaboration with global and multicultural teams. - Strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with policy as code including Sentinel or OPA. - Experience with enterprise migration programs cloud modernization and application transformation. - Familiarity with enterprise toolchains and governance models for cloud and DevSecOps. - AWS Terraform Kubernetes GitHub or security-related certifications are highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of experience in DevSecOps cloud automation platform engineering or related areas. - Proven experience leading complex CI/CD cloud modernization or DevSecOps transformation
initiatives. - Demonstrated track record in enterprise-scale cloud and automation projects. - Previous experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical lead is strongly preferred. - Proven delivery experience in international or multi-region projects is require
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field is
preferred.
Working Model & Collaboration
- Brazil based role with a 100% remote working model. - Close collaboration with international stakeholders and teams across regions. - Schedule flexibility may occasionally be required for critical milestones or major incidents.
