Our Technology Operations team plays a vital role in delivering robust data and integration platforms that power insights analytics and decision-making to support safer workplaces and better recovery for injured workers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Integration Solution Designer to shape and deliver high-impact data and integration solutions. You will create detailed design artefacts lead technical specifications for cloud-based data platforms and provide expert guidance to ensure solutions are secure scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture. Working in a dynamic environment you will drive innovation in integration frameworks while contributing to our goal of meaningful change for Victorians.

Key accountabilities:

• You will be designing and leading the detailed technical design of complex integration and data solutions.
• You will lead troubleshooting specification and implementation to ensure compatibility and supportability.
• You will create high-quality design documentation and provide specialist advice that balances functional security and performance needs.

About you

You are an experienced integration and data solutions professional who wants to make a difference in workplace safety and community outcomes. Your communication and organisational skills are excellent. You have a passion for translating complex technical requirements into practical high-quality designs that deliver real value.

You bring proven expertise in designing and delivering data/integration solutions with a strong focus on frontend analytics tools and robust querying capabilities. You thrive in independent and collaborative settings applying expert knowledge to end-to-end problem resolution.

Mandatory skills and experience/must have:

• Strong expertise in SAS and WebFOCUS for data analytics reporting and visualisation.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying data transformation and performance optimisation across large datasets.
• Demonstrated ITIL knowledge (v3 or v4 certification highly desirable) to support service management incident resolution and delivery frameworks.
• Experience designing solutions using cloud data engineering tools (e.g. SAS EM AWS Glue/Lambda Azure Data Factory/Synapse) and ETL platforms (e.g. SAS Data Integration Studio Informatica or Talend).
• Proven ability to produce detailed design artefacts conduct impact analysis and lead technical reviews for integration and data components.
