The Senior Project Manager has extensive knowledge and experience within the drywall/steel stud framing industry.
The Senior Project Manager will be empowered to manage the existing business in their designated market to ensure long-lasting relationships. The Senior Project Manager will lead and act as a mentor to their Project Team to empower employees to succeed in their role.
Essential Functions
Preconstruction/Estimating/Sales
Maintain and enhance Contractor relationships to build new Berg business and be involved in new market development. Manage and grow key client relationships in their designated market.
Deep estimating knowledge in the drywall/steel stud and metal framing space and maintains bid activity that supports overall Sr. PM portfolio expectation.
Full review of the contract with the Project Manager before submitting it to the Senior Leadership Team for sign-off.
Attend pre-construction meetings to understand complete scope while ensuring safety quality and productions set up to be met.
Review scope of work and identify any potential risks or scope gaps from estimate to award.
Leveraging and reviewing sub-tier contractors.
Maintains strong knowledge of projects and exceeds set standards for their portfolio.
Production/Execution
Monitoring the execution of the project(s) to ensure procedures are followed per company SOPs.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all pertinent information is provided; proactive communication with field leaders on bid productions and other preconstruction-related info and maintains consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Give advice and direction as needed to their Project Team.
Projection of manpower needs to leverage resources utilizing the information for additional/future projects.
Involved in the debriefing of a project.
