Commercial Property Solicitor Investment
Location: Manchester City Centre (hybrid working)
Salary: 55000 to 70000 (depending on experience)
Experience: 2 years PQE (Commercial Property Investment)
This is a great opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor (2 PQE) to join a rapidly growing Commercial Property department sitting within the Investment team.
You will support on complex high-value investment matters and gain exposure to a broad range of commercial property work while collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider real estate function and the firms corporate and dispute resolution teams as needed. The team is known for being experienced agile and commercially minded with a strong focus on delivering clear practical advice.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting on acquisitions and disposals including investment and owner-occupation transactions
- Assisting with landlord and tenant matters and supporting estate and asset management work
- Supporting on transaction management including drafting reviewing and negotiating key documents with appropriate supervision
- Liaising with clients counterparties and external advisers to progress matters efficiently
- Working alongside colleagues across development planning and infrastructure finance construction tax and property litigation teams to provide joined-up support
- Managing tasks efficiently keeping stakeholders updated and maintaining high standards of file management
What Were Looking For
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor with 2 years PQE in commercial property with an interest in investment work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Organised approach able to plan and prioritise your workload
- Strong attention to detail and a practical commercial mindset
Desirable
- Exposure to investment acquisitions and disposals and/or asset management work
- Experience supporting matters with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
- Interest in building longer-term client relationships and supporting business development
