At BCB Medical we develop technology that helps doctors and hospitals understand treatment outcomes improve patient care and reduce unnecessary administrative work. Our platforms are used internationally to manage and analyse clinical data and support evidence-based medicine.
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our MyHealth team working on systems that support patient data collection analysis and clinical this role you will contribute to the development of the MyHealth platform a modern cloud-based system used by both healthcare professionals and patients.
This is a fulltime and permanent role based in Turku (or Espoo) with hybrid work flexibility. As we are not able to provide relocation support we prefer candidates already living in Finland and holding the right to work here.
Building and maintaining backend services using Java
Developing modern user interfaces using React
Contributing to parts of our ecosystem built on .NET
Developing and maintaining cloud-native services running in Azure
Working with containerized services in AKS
Designing and implementing APIs and system integrations
Collaborating with clinicians product teams and data experts to improve digital healthcare workflows
Our Technology Stack
You dont need experience in everything but familiarity with several of these is important:
Backend: Java (Spring ecosystem) .NET / C# REST APIs
Frontend: React Modern JavaScript / TypeScript
Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure Kubernetes / AKS Docker CI/CD pipelines
Data & Integration: API design Healthcare system integrations Event-driven architectures
We value curiosity and an engineering mindset over checkbox skills but the abilities that will support success in this role include:
Solid experience in backend development
Comfort working across both Java ecosystems
Experience building modern React-based frontends
Understand of cloud-native architecture
Enjoyment in solving integration and data interoperability challenges
Interest in working in a small high-impact team
Experience with healthcare systems or clinical data is a plus but not required
