Responsibilities of the Head of Music include:

• Leading and developing the Music department and curriculum

• Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities for KS5 depending on experience

• Directing ensembles concerts and school performances throughout the academic year

• Encouraging pupil participation in orchestras choirs and musical productions

• Managing departmental planning resources and assessment

• Supporting the wider creative life of the school through musical events and productions
