Regional Director - South East

A growing values-led care group in the South East is seeking an additional Regional Director to join their senior leadership team and take operational responsibility for four well-performing homes.
This is a role for a doer someone who genuinely enjoys being in homes building capability and driving standards through presence coaching and practical leadership. If you are at your best when you are visible present and making things happen you will thrive here.
Ideal home bases include Central Sussex up East or Central Sussex the London/Kent borders or that perfect midpoint around the Dartford Tunnel.
You will join two existing Regional Directors both exceptional covering Kent and Hampshire and this hire completes the regional structure.
The Role
You will lead a portfolio of four homes ensuring they operate safely compliantly and in a commercially sound manner while delivering an exceptional resident experience.
This is a hands-on operational role. You will be in homes regularly supporting managers spotting what needs attention and keeping standards consistently high.
You will bring structure clarity and calm oversight while staying close to the day-to-day reality of each service.

- Coaching & supporting Home Managers to deliver consistently high performance
- Ensuring homes meet and exceed CQC expectations
- Driving quality culture and continuous improvement
- Supporting occupancy through visibility community presence and stakeholder relationships
- Leading governance reviews audits and improvement actions
- Supporting new service openings as the group continues to expand
- Building trusted relationships with local authorities regulators and external partners
- Ensuring financial performance is healthy without compromising care quality
About You
- You will be a grounded credible relationship-led leader who gets the best out of people.
- Senior leadership experience in a care home provider ideally for older adults
- Strong commercial awareness and operational grip
- A coaching-led leadership style that builds confidence and accountability
- Deep understanding of CQC regulation and governance
- The ability to balance warmth with authority firm fair and values-led
- A genuine love of being in homes rather than behind a desk
