Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Develop a familiarity with Coherents portfolio of thermal materials as well as thermal management techniques test equipment and measurement methods
- Conduct thermal testing of liquid cold plates following established procedures
- Analyze thermal test results compare measured data to modeling predictions and identify reasons for deviation between simulation and experiment
- Summarize data and present findings to engineering team and management
Requirements
- Physics mechanical engineering materials science majors will be most suited for this role
- Experience working in a laboratory environment and following safety requirements
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data processing (Excel Matlab Python R or similar)
- Prior experience related to thermal management heat transfer and/or fluid dynamics a plus
- Experience with G-Code a plus
- Citizen or permanent resident
