Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Punch Press Operator to join our production team. The operator will be responsible for the setup operation and

maintenance of punch press machines to produce precision electrical components according to strict specifications. The ideal candidate has experience

with metal stamping precision manufacturing and die handling and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Set up operate and maintain manual and automated punch press machines for production of electrical components.
Perform tool and die changes ensuring proper setup for specific parts and maintaining high tolerance standards.
Inspect finished components using calipers gauges and measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Monitor machine performance identify potential issues and report maintenance needs.
Maintain safe and clean work areas following safety procedures and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production targets without compromising precision.
Assist with sorting packaging and preparation of finished parts for shipment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 4 years of experience operating punch press machines in a precision manufacturing environment.
Experience with metal stamping and fabrication preferably with electrical-grade steel components.
Proficiency in tooling die handling and measurement instruments (calipers gauges).
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow production specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative production team.

Preferred Skills

Experience in electrical component or connector manufacturing.
Knowledge of progressive die or compound die operations.
Familiarity with high-volume production environments.

Working Conditions

Fast-paced production environment.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting.
Regular adherence to health and safety guidelines.
