About The Role

Were seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Nursing and Allied Health students!

Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Nursing and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting casual position located in our Taree campus.

TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help construct guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

About You

You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor your students passing on your experience and knowledge. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including industry and students.

We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who meets the following:

Essential Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Nursing (minimum)or equivalent qualification and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
2. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
3. Minimum three years relevant post-qualification experience in acute care as a Registered Nurse gained no longer than five years ago
4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
