Job Summary

Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: New York NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience in infrastructure architecture and cloud architecture within enterprise environments.
Demonstrated architect-level expertise across major cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Landing Zones including identity management networking logging/monitoring and security baselines along with standardized onboarding frameworks.
Hands-on experience establishing governance frameworks guardrails and policy enforcement including managing workload intake and architectural review processes.
Strong experience in hybrid connectivity architecture including hub-and-spoke network design routing strategies DNS configuration and private connectivity solutions such as private endpoints.
Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform with Ansible preferred including implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment configuration management and drift control.
Demonstrated knowledge of FinOps best practices including resource tagging strategies cost allocation budget monitoring alerts and financial reporting/showback models.
Strong stakeholder communication documentation and operational runbook development skills.
Relevant cloud architecture certifications are highly preferred including:
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- OCI Cloud Architect Certification (or equivalent).

Reworded Duties / Responsibilities

Design implement and manage enterprise Landing Zones across Azure AWS GCP and OCI including organizational structures (accounts subscriptions projects tenancies) identity services networking logging and security baselines.
Develop and enforce cloud governance frameworks and guardrails utilizing tools such as Azure Policy and Management Groups AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (SCPs) GCP Organization Policies and OCI compartment governance models.
Participate in or lead Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) workload intake and architecture review processes to determine the optimal hosting model (Cloud provider selection On-Premises or SaaS) based on risk compliance data classification latency resiliency/disaster recovery and total cost of ownership (TCO).
Define and maintain hybrid connectivity reference architectures including hub-and-spoke networking models routing strategies DNS design private endpoints and private connectivity solutions.
Develop and maintain platform automation frameworks using Terraform and Ansible (preferred) including CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes configuration management and drift remediation supported by comprehensive documentation and operational runbooks.
Establish and enforce FinOps governance standards including resource tagging policies cost allocation models budget monitoring and alerting cost reporting/showback frameworks and cost optimization guardrails.
Create and maintain technical documentation standards and architectural guidelines and provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to CIS teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment across a federated cloud environment and support enterprise-wide cloud adoption strategies.
